St. Louis

Tulsa to St. Louis was about 6 hours.

Guess who just woke up from a little snooze...

We arrived just after noon, checked into the Hilton at the Ballpark, and headed out for some lunch and the arch. We grabbed some sandwiches at Jimmy John’s, then went to the arch for some photos.

The Arch

We toured the courthouse, then went back under the arch for a visit to the Expansion to the West museum, which just so happened to have a baseball wing that was very cool.

Tulsa

We made it to Tulsa without any troubles on Saturday afternoon. Sunday, we got up and met Charlie Goebel for breakfast, and then got a little tour of Tulsa while Dave ran some errands. Later, we ended up at La Fortune park, where we found some baseball being played, and stuck around a bit to watch.

Great seats!

After baseball, we went to Queenies for lunch, and then back to Mema and Mary’s to get ready to leave Monday for St. Louis.

Queenies' Specials

Of course, Megan sent some companions along with us for this trip. They’ve behaved well.
